In this episode, we feature Husna Rafi, a former journalism student at Kabul University. After three years of studying, her education was cut short after the Taliban banned women’s education in Afghanistan in December 2022. However, in same year, Husna started a tailoring business, where she trained 60 women, helping them learn skills to support themselves.
Husna’s message to Afghan women is simple: “Never give up. Life has both dark and light moments, and we must be ready for both.”
