Pakistani Military Attack on Asadabad, Kunar: 1 Killed, more than 15 Injured

Many of the injured are women and children, officials say

A reported Pakistani military strike hit Asadabad, the capital of Kunar province, on Sunday afternoon, killing one person and injuring 15 others, according to local officials.

Muzaffar Mukhlis, head of Kunar’s Public Health Department, told The Afghan Times that the casualties were transferred to medical facilities. “Among the injured, many are women and children,” he said.
