Sources within the Afghanistan Cricket Board told The Afghan Times that three local-level cricket players were killed and four others injured in Pakistani military airstrikes on Paktika province.
The victims had reportedly traveled to Sharana, the provincial capital, to participate in a friendly cricket match and were attacked upon returning home.
