Afghanistan’s cricket team secured a nail-biting win against Ireland in the second T20 match held in Abu Dhabi.

Led by Mohammad Nabi’s stellar performance, Afghanistan set a target of 153 runs, with a crucial half-century from Nabi himself contributing significantly. In response, Ireland struggled to chase down the target, managing only 142 runs against Afghanistan’s formidable bowling attack.

Rashid Khan claimed four wickets, while Nangyal Kharoti took two crucial wickets, putting immense pressure on the Irish batsmen. However, Afghanistan’s victory was not without its challenges, as they faced a tense moment when Rashid Khan and Nangyal were penalized for a delivery infringement.

For Ireland, Mark Adair and Raz Joliet spearheaded the batting lineup, but their efforts fell short as they struggled to counter Afghanistan’s disciplined bowling attack.

The victory marks another milestone in Afghanistan’s cricketing journey, showcasing their prowess on the international stage. The series between Afghanistan and Ireland promises to deliver more thrilling encounters.

Now, when each team wins the third T20 match, it will become the winner of this series.

Afghanistan and Ireland had three ODIs and one Test before, Afghanistan won the ODI series 2-0, but the test ended in favor of Ireland.
