This is not a comprehensive list of the Taliban’s restrictions on women. Day by day, the Taliban imposes additional limitations, systematically eroding women’s rights and freedoms in Afghanistan.
In some provinces, certain restrictions were imposed either before or after the mentioned dates. However, we have highlighted the dates when these restrictions were implemented nationwide. We are closely monitoring the situation. We encourage you to explore women’s stories, listen to them on our open mic podcast, or learn more about the country’s education system.
